Health & Safety
We take Health & Safety very seriously and the company has achieved various accreditations for demonstrating our compliance. Click on the Accreditation page for further details.
The company will act in compliance with Legislation, Codes of Practice, Health & Safety Regulations and Guidance notes which lay down the minimum standards for Health & Safety.
We instruct all employees in safety procedures and ensure they are competent and able to identify and guard against foreseeable hazards, and meet the responsibilities placed upon them. Please download our Health & Safety Policy for further details.

Training

Our employees have completed the IOSH Working Safely course and the IOSH SPA Passport for the Food Industry. Employees are also trained in other relevant skills needed to complete their jobs safely and securely. These include IPAF Scissor Lift and Boom lift licences, PASMA Tower certificates as well as working in Confined Spaces etc. |

A copy of the company's Health & Safety policy is available on request. This document is provided to all members of staff with appropriate training given and is reviewed yearly. It is the client's responsibility to maintain a safe environment for Precise employees when working on their sites and to provide Precise with copies of relevant risk assessments. The company and employees will observe and carry out further requirements for Health & Safety on site i.e. permits to work and method of work statements. |
Personal Protective Equipment

The company issues all personnel with the relevant protective clothing and equipment necessary to carry out their jobs in safety, as required by the Personal Protective Equipment Regulations 1992. All employees are fully aware of their responsibility and potential risks and are instructed to use their PPE in accordance with legislative, company policy and risk assessment reviews. |
First Aid

First aid and accident reporting facilities are available at our office and employees will use clients' facilities and reporting procedures when on-site and will be instructed to do so. All our vehicles carry a first aid box which is regularly checked and re-stocked. All accidents will be logged in the Company Accident Book whether or not they fall into the RIDDOR category. |
