Boarshaw School is a community primary school located in Middleton, Manchester and required the installation of a new L1 fully addressable fire alarm system. As a local authority school, Precise tendered for and won the contract to replace the fire alarm system.

Working to a tight budget and deadline during the school’s six-week summer holidays, Precise installed the new fire alarm system within the entire 2-storey school building; overcoming barriers and unforeseen problems that come from retrofitting a sophisticated addressable fire alarm system in an old building.

Incorporating Access Control doors on all escape routes, the new fire protection system was installed, tested and commissioned; and handover was delivered to the Headteacher as scheduled before the beginning of the new school year.

Working with Precise on this project, all the installation work was carried out at a competitive price and to a very high standard
